(Not everyone gets one) Why should they pay you when everyone else can watch you for free. It is a delightful example of providing a public good (non-excludable and joint in supply) versus a private good (excluable and non-joint supply) meaning that you can't really stop non payers from watching you and everyone else watching doesn't dimish the enjoyment of the viewer. On the other hand, if a person buys a deck of cards, no one else can buy that deck and if someone else buys it, it dimishes the enjoyment of the person who didn't buy it. Ask any magicians wife ;-) <BR/><BR/>Okay, enough of those lectures.
