Nite time in the city of lights

Hollywood

The intersection is Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave. One of the attractions in Hollywood is the Ripley's Believe It or Not at the corner with the dinosaur on top. Also near by is the famed Magic Castle.

The tall building on left is the Hollywood First National Bank Building, one of the most beautiful and detailed buildings on Hollywood Boulevard. It was designed by Meyer and Holler who also did the Egyptian and Chinese theaters. This building was constructed for the princely sum of $750,000 in 1927. Both Gothic and Art Deco in design, this was the tallest building in Los Angeles up until 1932.
